Registration

How do I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets by going to the Buy Tickets page and clicking on the 'Register Now' button, which will take you to a new browser window, where you can buy your ticket.

You will then need to create an account on the myTrumin platform and follow the on screen instructions to register for your chosen NOS Event.

Alternatively, you can get one on the day, subject to availability.

We recommend buying your tickets online in advance as this reduces the amount of time it will take to check you in on Event day.

How much do tickets cost?

For standard NOS Challenge events, ticket prices are:

For kids (aged 6-13), tickets cost 7.500 OMR.

For adults (aged 14+), tickets bought online cost 15.000 OMR.

Spectators go free!

Please check individual event pages to confirm prices.

Corporate and large group discounts are available.

How do I get my QR code?
  1. Please log into your Trumin account (my.trumin.com) and click on 'My Events' at the top on the left.
  2. You will see the NOS event listed under the 'Unassigned Tickets' tab.   On the right, you will see a button saying 'Manage' - please click this and go through to the next page where you will see another button saying 'Assign'.
  3. You will now have two options - you can assign your tickets to yourself and/or the other participants; just click on the relevant button until all tickets are assigned.
  4. For the 'other' participants, please enter their email address and they will be sent an email with instructions to assign their own tickets to themselves in the same way.  For minors, you can use your own email address.
  5. From here, you will be guided to the 'view ticket' page - click on this button to download the PDF QR code.  You will have received the same QR code by email at the same time - please bring this with you to the event so we can check you in.
I​ ​am​ ​unable​ ​to​ ​attend​,​ ​can​ ​I​ ​get​ ​my​ ​money​ ​back?

Yes, you can request a refund via my.trumin.com

You can also transfer your registration for standard NOS events if you are unable to participate.

How can I transfer my ticket?

Tickets for standard NOS Events can be transferred to another NOS event or another person.

There may be a small administration charge to do this.

To transfer to another person:

1. Please go to my.trumin.com and login.
2. Under My Events, select 'No' to the event you do not want to attend.
3. Select the Transfer Ticket button that appears.
4. Enter the email address of the participant whom you wish to transfer it to, click 'select'.
5. If there is a charge for transferring your ticket, or a difference in ticket price, it will now be displayed.
6. Please click on "Next".
7. You will be taken to the payment screen, please enter your information.
8. A confirmation message will appear, and you will receive a confirmation email.

To transfer to another Event:

1. Please go to my.trumin.com and login.
2. Under My Events, select 'No' to the event you do not want to attend.
3. Select the Transfer Ticket button that appears.
4. Select the event you wish to transfer to from the drop down menu on the second line, click 'select'.
5. If there is a charge for transferring your ticket, or a difference in ticket price, it will now be displayed.
6. Please click on "Next".
7. You will be taken to the payment screen, please enter your information.
8. A confirmation message will appear, along with a confirmation email.

Please note there may be a transfer deadline - please see individual Event for more information on this.

Teams

How do I create a team?

Create a team online and gather your tribe.

You can follow these instructions below to create a team free of charge:

1. Log in to your MY.TRUMIN.COM account

2. Enter the email address you used to register for the event.

3. Enter your password. If you've forgotten your password, click ‘Recover your password’? An email will be sent to your email address to set your new password.

4. After you have logged in, click on 'My Teams' at the very top of the page.

5. Click the ‘Manage Teams for Event’ drop-down on the left hand side of the page, and select the NOS event that you would like to create a team for.

6. Select ‘Create a New Team’, enter a group name, and create a team password.

7. Then click ‘Save’

8. You will now see the message; 'You are in a team: "Team Name".'

How do I create a team after I have already registered?

You don’t need to book together to run as a team, but you will need to create a team online so we can make sure you’re all in the same heat.

You can follow these instructions below to create a team free of charge:

2. Enter the email address you used to register for the event.

How do I join a team?

On The Day

What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring your QR code (either on your mobile phone, or printed out) so you can be checked-in at registration.

You may also need photographic ID (ID card, passport or driving license) in order to identify yourself.

What should I wear?

Closed sports shoes and clothing are essential. Leave your brand-new gear at home!

We advise long sleeved tops and full length trousers are worn - the obstacles can get a bit warm, and we don't want anyone getting friction burns.

What time does the event start?

Race start times depend on the time of year - please see individual events for details.  The children's challenge will be the first race of the day.

There are staggered start waves for a maximum of 8 people at a time.  This is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the time you would like to start and if you are part of a team, please all arrive together.

Where can I park?

Most of the venues NOS is hosted at have sufficient parking, however, we will let you know if you need to make any special arrangements.  Just check the upcoming events page for details.

Can​ ​I​ ​buy​ ​a​ ​ticket​ ​on​ ​the​ ​day?

If the event is not sold out then you will be able to buy a ticket on the day.  Just head over to the Info Desk and they will be able to help you get involved.

We suggest buying your tickets and creating your participant profile online in advance where possible, as this significantly reduces the time it takes to check you in on Event day.

Can​ ​my​ ​friends/family​ ​come​ ​along to​ ​watch?

Of course!  This is something we actively encourage.

We have a great festival area for your friends and family to enjoy and watch you as you take part in the NOS Challenge.

Can​ ​I​ ​take​ ​my​ ​phone/​​camera​ ​with​ ​me?

Yes, but this is at your own risk. NOS is not responsible for any devices that are lost or damaged on the obstacle course.

Where can I get medical assistance, if I need it?

First aiders will be positioned around the course and clearly signed.

The Course and Obstacles

How many obstacles are there?

There are 9 obstacles on the NOS course.  You can meet them here.

Do I have to complete every obstacle?

Completion of obstacles is mandatory in the timed race and endurance race only – where skipping any obstacle will lead to disqualification of the competition.

How long is the obstacle course?

It depends on the exact location, but the course is around 3km for adults and 1km for child participants.

Will I get dirty/wet?

You will get a bit wet, yes, but you shouldn't get too dirty.

Is there a time limit to complete the course?

Yes, you will have a maximum of three hours to complete the course.  During this time, you can complete the course as many times as you like!

Can I do the course with my friends/family?

Yes, of course - providing that you all show up at the start line together.

There is a maximum of 8 participants in each heat, and heats start approximately every two minutes.

Where can I put my belongings while I do the course?

You are welcome to use our bag-drop area, however, please note that we are not responsible for lost/stolen items.

Prizes

What do I get if I win?

The top three finishers in the timed race and the endurance race will receive 2 free NOS tickets for a future Event.

There may also be other prizes available, depending on each individual Event.

Every finisher receives a cool NOS t-shirt!

How do I claim my prize?

There will be an awards ceremony at the end of each race day where winners will be given instructions on how to claim their complimentary race tickets.

Failure to collect your prize IOU on the day will result in forfeiture.  Nothing will be posted.

NOS Festival

Do I have to pay to enter the NOS Festival area?

No, entry to NOS Festival at standard NOS events is free of charge!

What sort of entertainment can I expect?

Entertainment varies depending on the location - please keep an eye on our next event page closer to the event date for more details on the entertainment we have secured for you to enjoy.

Can I bring children to NOS Festival?

NOS is a family event, so please do bring your children along.  They'll love it!
